Clearproof by Mary Kay Review

Hello Beauties,

Today's post will be about my current skincare routine and a review of the products ive been using. I was chosen by influenster to try out the clearproof skincare regimen. As you know from my previous post i suffer from acne prone skin, cystic acne and oily skin. Ive used tons of skincare products and none seemed to help. I tried this regimen out for 30 days to get an accurate review for you all. Lets get started.

What you get:
●Clear proof Clarifying Cleansing Gel - 4.5 OZ. - 2% Salicylic Acid
●Clear Proof Blemish Control Toner - 5 FL. OZ. - 2% Salicylic Acid
●Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel - 1 OZ. - 5% Benzoyl Peroxide
●Clear Proof Oil-free Moisturizer for Acne-prone Skin - 3 FL. OZ

I first started off with the cleansing gel, washing my face like normal with a clean wash cloth. The problem people run into is they done not allow there face to fully dry between each step, which clogs your pores and causes breakouts. After my face is dry i take the blemish control toner on a cotton ball and apply it all over my face and neck. When thats dry i apply the acne treatment to my cheeks, neck and forehead then when dried i apply the Moisturizer all over my face and neck.

(Before)

What they claim:
●Clears up blemishes without irritation and help maintains a clear complexion
●Unclogs pores, removes excess oil and leaves skin feeling healthier
●Fades the look of lingering acne spots
●Attacks multiple factors that can contribute to acne breakouts

Pros:
●Helps with forehead acne/texture
●Helps with pimples
●Acne treatment clears up pimples overnight
●Helped with my stubborn cystic acne
●Dries and absorbs quickly into the skin
●Super easy to use

Cons:
●Moisturizer doesnt moisturize very well (even with my oily skin)
●Really have to be religious with using it or ill start breaking out
●Toner fragrance burns and makes eyes water when applied near them
●Toner also burns pimples
●Did not fade my existing acne spots
●Did not reduce my oil production in my face
●Having to order through mary kay instead of just heading to the store

(Two weeks)

(After 30 days)

I do really like this system! It has left my skin feeling amzing. I do however wish it would of faded my acne spots. For all the products will cost you $45 for the set. To by the products seperately would cost $59 dollars. The set is definitely the way to go. They also have a Clear Proof Pore-Purifying Serum for $17 dollars that was not included in the kit, and i did not recieve this product so i cannot review it.

Price Breakdown:
●Cleanser - $16
●Toner - $15
●Treatment - $10
●Moisturizer - $18

Disclaimer:
I did recieve these products for free through influenster and mary kay. I am not being sponsored. All opinions of these prodcts are my own.
With that being said I hope this review helped. Dont forget to follow my blog and my social medias!

Sweet Smoke

Hello Beauties,

Today tutorial is warm smokey eye with winged liner, an orange blush and just a clear gloss on the lips. I decided to create this simple eye look using mostly one palette. Hope you enjoy the tutorial.

PRODUCTS USED:

● Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer - Medium Light
● Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer - 430 Medium
● ELF Eyelid Primer - Sheer
● Nyx Love in Paris Palette - LIP05 Parisian Chic
● Wet n Wild Coloricon Palette - 738 Comfort Zone
● Wet n Wild Fergie Cre'me Eyeliner - Little Black Dress
● L' Oreal Voluminous
● Wet n Wild Mega Impact

I started off by priming my eye with the concealers and eyelid primer. I used the light tan color from the love in paris palette as my transition shade.

Next I took the golden brown crease color from the comfort zone palette and put it into my crease with a fluffy blending brush.

Then from the same palette I used the dark brown shimmer shade in my outer crease and outer third of my lid.

I applied the copper gold shade to the rest of my lid. Blending the dark brown and copper together where they meet.

I highlighted my browbone with the cream color from the love in paris palette, then I created winged liner using my black cream liner.

After finishing my face I added the dark brown color from the comfort zone palette to my lower lashline getting it as close as possible. I took the golden brown shade to blend out the harsh dark brown line on my lower lashline. Lastly I added two coats of my mascara.

Finished look!! Don't forget to follow and comment!

Love,

Angelica♡
